Hey, I connected a rx 480 to a PCI slot. Not pcie. It smoked! Now my card is not recognized. I've tried in different pc's. Is there a fuse or capacitor that might have blown on the cards board?
How the hell did you get that to fit?
Either way start taking a voltmeter to test the resistance on every single connection that is 0.010" wide to seeif the connections are good... and good luck. That sucks good thing the RXs are cheap now. The r9's are the big bucks. ~$220 for 32Mh/S
Hello.
With GTX 1070 I got strange errors after some time (very random) :
08:02:50:826 d98 parse packet: 247

Strange is, that all GPU fails at once. I'm using Nvidia 384.94 drivers.
Any suggestions?
Update the drivers, dont pay for a 1070 the 1060 with samsung memory gets 24+Mh/S, use DDU to uninstall the drivers, check all your connections, dont overclock at first, make sure your not taking too many watts of your PSU (about 90% of the rating or higher) etc.
