Honestly i would not bother with the Reddit. You don't even know whether or not Kraken staff will be actively responding to your messages. You will get empathy from other users, sure. But that doesn't really help.

Try messaging this guy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=32856. He is involved with Kraken as a staff member and is quite active(online today, actually). He should be able to help you at least a bit via PM.
