No, this is NOT a comparison of a flat and motionless Earth vs. Eratosthenes theory (the globe). This is a generalization, in picture form, to give someone an idea of what is going on. The reality lies in the actual measurements and sizes.

For example. The tall poles in the picture would have to be around a thousand miles high to compare the picture to globe reality.
