.First you have to check that which altcoins you wanted to convert to btc because all altcoins are not listed in all exchanges. So first you have to check which altcoin you are holding is listed to which exchange and according to it you have to open the account and trade it. If the coin is listed to the exchange which needs details to be given to open account then you have to do that if not open the thread related the altcoin for sale and sale according to that .
