I am using the GUI wallet on a mac. Is there an update? What happens if I don't upgrade? It says on reddit I will be kicked off the network. Will I lose my coins?
You will not lose your coins. You do want to download and use the updated version.Thank you capslock. How do I update it? Just download the new version? Or do I need to replace files etc, I find that hard to do.
I'm not on a Mac... but I think you should be able to install it discretely. On my PC I just unzip the folder and run the gui from within the new folder. Your old downloaded blockchain should work.
Just make sure you have a(n accurate) copy of your seed words. That is all that matters.
