Ehh, moderators should ban all this spammer acounts. They are making rep using bots and selling accounts. Thats pathetic. Every thread has some. They come in, write some gibberish shit and quote OP's first post.
Did you report it to the moderator? Down at the bottom right, the link that says "Report to moderator"? Give them the same reason you expressed here. It works.
Deleting posts affects the ability to search effectively though.
I'd prefer the elimination of the account myself. It's a tough call.You can also post negative trust ratings to the user's account . . .
