Don't send coins from the old wallet. I have instructions on how to install the new wallet at the top of the OP. Sending coins on the old chain can result in a loss of coins.So, I can send my SOJ from my previous desktop wallet to the new one (v1.3) from now without risk, right?
My bad, I noticed your instructions about making a backup of our wallet.dat file that is located in the temp var %appdata% before proceeding to the .dat file importation into the new wallet. Moreover, I think of making use of the backup function that is integrated to the wallet.
Is it enough?
Note : I wasn't thinking of simply sending from my v1.1 wallet to a SOJ address created in the v1.3 wallet
