Hey there guys, lately I'm investing a lot into alt coins so far I have more than 20 alts so I was thinking to buy some piece of hardwere to move them there, do you have something to recommend? How reliable they really are? What happens in the case they stop working?
Just use software wallets and a PC. You can make a few backups if you want. We have two or three of these around with a couple hundred different types of coins in each. Just make sure that any and all backups that you make are stored somewhere other than the same PC or hard drive.
That is kind of the idea for the back up is to be there if that drive fails or the PC needs to be restored or whatever. Currently if you are not so smart in wallets and seeds and all such stuff, I would recommend to keep them in online exchanges. You do not hassle to keep moving the altcoin from exchanges to their wallets and it will also save a lot of your time.
