can I ask -what is an advantage of being open source?
Trust, basically. Some exchanges won't list a coin if they don't know what is in the wallet code. Also, helps to lend legitimacy to a project if the code can be verified.
But what if someone copy the code and create new coin out of it (clone of cloak) ?
