Can you explain the IRC connection in Windows Wallet logs? It's kind of dubious looking.
(other users can also check this by going to HELP, then Debug, then Open Debug Logfile).
Is it just bootstrapping from IRC?

Yes, this is debug information which shows actions of wallet (e.g. connection attempts) and chain data (e.g. new blocks, best chains, etc.).

To my eyes, the debug file shows that the client opens a connection to an IRC Server, (in this case irc.smutfairy.com) and makes a user.
