This project has no pre-mine, so it's totally community driven. With no contentious hard forks, it can become a stable ground for users and dapp developers to build things on top of it. Consider it Litecoin in Ethereum. Some work are being carried out to improve the performance of the EVM, and some useful dapps are likely to get deployed on the Ellaism network soon.
