As what other people has said above, the initials ICO stands for/means initial coin offering. And in selling stuff(not limited to coins only), people need to draw attention so that people would actually dig in to their products/coins. And so every ICO would do everything they can and whatever gimmicks possible just to have lots of people buying and promoting their coins. Be it freebies, articles, ads. Everything!

I also do not like having all these different coins popping out all of the time. But sad thing is we can't stop it. And knowing i need the money, i just chose to go with the flow.
