It is officially a SCAM everyone. I had a friend reach out and now the price is 1.2 ETH. The guy just gets you to send him money and then never responds again. Hopefully I will be his last victim.
You will notice that you can't post comments on his YouTube video, he must have them on approval only. I have posted multiple from various accounts and only I can see them. See below

We should also find a way to get these videos shut down. This guy claims to be a miner but is ruining the trust of Crypto by scamming people.

Why in the hell would you pay him 1.2 ETH? You could have paid that to me for at least doing something useful such as putting input into this forum and helping devs make mining software better. By going through the scam dance with him I now have actual email correspondence to give to YouTube to get those videos removed. I figured it was a SCAM. I figured if I can afford to lose 1.1 ETH why not maybe be able to get this guy's account terminated so he can't get anyone else.
