I dont understand why. Everyone is free to build services that use Monero. It will not be fluffyponys first. He started Monerodice and MyMonero before Globee.
Is being the "face of Monero" a responsibility he asked for, or is it one you're assigning to him?
Inadvertently by his own posts and shenanigans, yes, he is currently the only "Face of monero" that I know of? & as the lead dev, should he not be?

Actually if you read last developers meting notes https://monerobase.com/wiki/DevMeeting_2017-09-17 you can see that luigi has stepped up to become Monero main maintainer.
