The Pirate Bay's team has recently been caught taking advantage of its website popularity, and trying to make money by
secretly injecting a Javascript code in it, to make its visitors generate (Mine) a cryptocurrency called
Monero for the team.
After this issue was reported, The Pirate Bay issued a statement on its website saying that,
it was only a test for just 24 hours :
"This is only a test. We really want to get rid of all the ads. But we also need enough money to keep the site running," says The Pirate Bay.
