Is it possible to solo mine with sgminer? If not has anyone done any research on how to put together a stratum/getblocktemplate proxy?
How many and of which cards do you have? 4xx or 5xx?
4 radeon cards
1 x 480
1 x 390(which does better than the 480)
2 x 290
Ya I don't think you would want to solo mine with because it would take ages to find a block. I would just stick to yiimp or supernova.
Even if that is the case, that is a distraction from my original question. I wish to know if it is possible to solo mine with sgminer and if so could someone could give me pointers on how to make this happen? Thanks
I'm not sure because I don't use sgminer... but with 80 GH/s it just seemed worthless to even contemplate with just those 4 cards. I don't even do it with my 6x 1080 TI rigs because it is definitely still more profitable to point them to a pool.
