I put my BOAT in the official wallet today for Staking Grin

I have bin a long time supporter of RAIN and I make good returns stacking RAIN, so nog lets give it a try with BOAT.

Already holding for 2 weeks, so its time I start staking, think I will buy I bit more soon.

For now I got 52.000 BOAT staiking for me, lets find out what the rewards are.

Just to let you know, don't expect the same rewards as RAIN as Boat only pays 5% per year on the coins you stake. 52k will get you a couple of stakes daily.

Yes maturity does also play a role in how long it takes to earn stakes. Have you earned any stakes yet?

Rain has bin realy realy good for staking, to bad Boat is a lot less, but still 5% a year is better than a bank Wink

Not to get offtopic, but what are the stakes like with RAIN? I know it's supposed to be random, but what's the % over time if you've done the math?

Boat is reliable at 5%, so I'll take it. Seems like the pump is over though, so let's see how things go from here... hopefully sideways and then up again.

I'm sure it's okay as RAIN is also owned by the dev so I don't think the dev would mind us talking about RAIN from time to time. Now to answer your question, it's around 200% per year for RAIN and that is why it has grown in popularity while Boat has been in the shadows which is fine with me. I got in Boat very early on when it was worth peanuts and was the only one posting in here a few months ago so I'm very happy to see Boat get more attention as I think it's a great coin to stake and mine.
