I can contact with dev and we are talking about process everyday and I know the process of project. Dev, who is like to work with his coding. he doesn't comfort to talking to other much but believe me he is working hard in this project. i can say the wallet, at least beta version can release in couple weeks. 
Whether he likes talking or not, he should make sure he involves with his community as he wants people to invest money into his project. He won't be able to circumvent the communication part unless he delivers like a machine with developments.
