If you are having trouble connecting to the network it generally stems from windows defender/antivirus preventing the wallet from working properly. I would first look into this and ensure nothing on your end is blocking it. After if you are still having trouble connecting i would recommend creating a config file which if you do not know how to do i am more then willing to walk you through it in PMs and get you sorted.
