Maybe in the start because of its high price, but we'll see what will really happen later on. Comparing to ethereum, bitcoin cash is too young in the cryptocurrency world. And due to this, it lacks reputation compared to eth. Bch hasn't showed anything to prove its ability. The point is it's too early to say anything about this stuff. Let's give bch some time to prove something.

Yes bitcoin cash have potentially crypto currency and there are a possibility to take the #2 spot but I will happen last August 2017 then it falls immediately. However, no questions that bitcoin cash had big chance to take over the position of ethereum coin in the future.
