I think gambling and trading have different functions in the field of bitcoin but they are both risky. They both attempt to create a capital gain, over a relatively short period of time. Both activities involve risk of capital with hopes of future profit. Gambling is typically a short-lived activity, while stock investing can last a lifetime.
Trading is good if you are a trader but most gamblers are just focus in gambling and it's the only way they know where they can make money.
They know better what they can offer so if they think gambling is best and it provide income on the table then they are lucky and gifted to ever make that, in terms of making money, I guess gambling is the hardest way to take.
