Perhaps Tony could have laid some freeze mechanism (airdropped bytes (or big part of it) are frozen for at least 1 year). That might have created enough time for technical and business development.
this is actually a very good idea. It sucks I didn't think of it earlier I would definitely have propagated that idea. All bytes received for free based on BTC holdings should be frozen/timelocked for a year. Or alternatively, a fixed percentage of the airdrop bytes should be allowed for selling.
