I get your drift but I don't really understand why people make such a big deal out of it.
It's really about creating exposure for Ethereum Dark and getting the project on the radar. I understand that some people just sign up to make use of the airdrop, but this cannot be avoided (like so many other things), so let's just be happy together and support the ETHD team in being successful with their project. That's what you should focus on, not on new members getting 100 or so coins.
