Is this a copy of Monero?

a glance at the whole coin, and the closer to the coin-supply would tell you, that verge is THAT, what monero users thought monero is.

No lol. Verge is a copy of bitcoin. It doesn't use cryptography for privacy like monero does. XVG is psuedo-anonymous like bitcoin and 95% of other crypto-coins out there. It just uses tools like Tor and i2P to try to hide.
Verge (XVG) (formerly DogecoinDark (DOGED)) is a decentralised, open-source cryptocurrency forked from Dogecoin in October 2014 and re-branded as VERGE in February 2016. The project exploited the growing popularity of the "fun" Dogecoin cryptocurrency while adding code to increase the coin's anonymity and privacy features, notably the network's ability to run on dedicated Tor nodes. Verge is a pure proof-of-work cryptocurrency that uses multiple hashing algorithms to mine new coins.

Sorry, forgot to do the math. Verge was DogecoinDark forked from Dogecoin forked from Litecoin forked from Bitcoin.  Better?  Roll Eyes

"Multiple" hashing algorithms and "adding code" is different than privacy cryptography. Running on dedicated Tor nodes (as stated in your quote) is what Verge (a rebranded, 3rd generation bitcoin fork) uses for privacy. Tor and other privacy tools.
