And, having a girlfriend, or any other distraction, nearby you while you are trying to calculate probabilities, evaluate equities, and determine bet sizes will only jeopardize your bankroll. Gambling is based on probabilities, expected values, and good decision making skills ---> not luck. Take the girlfriend someplace else if you want to get lucky, like a spa ---> not a casino!
