What do you mean disappear? Disappear like due to some bug or hack, and you just lost your coins? I don't think that will happen, at least if you have your seeds and private keys of wallets and address, and specially if you hold a hardware wallet, which you should if you have a lot of bitcoins.
If you hold them on exchanges etc, then yest they could disappear, and you could only blame yourself.
