the estimate is 10% per month, so with your 10k you can do only 1000/30 per day, which is only 33 coins or so, you need to buy more like 100k to have something significant
I have about 12.000 coins Staking and I get about 100 up to 250 coins every 2 - 3 days, I am very happy with my RAIN coins and the Staking rewards.
I also believe you get about 200% a year staking rewards.
The price I think will grow to $0,30 soon and I will be staking more and more in the meanwhile
