How well does the Zotac Mini do with cooling a 1080 Ti? We have some of the 1070s with that cooler and they do well, but at about half the power consumption. That's a nice price in any case of course.
70% tdp and they are fine
I do open case 3 card builds riser free
1080ti - blower / 1080ti - blower / 1080ti - mini

Is Onda a Biostar branding for Asian markets? We have done well with all of our Biostar motherboards this year, so if they are the ones that actually produced this D1800 it makes me allot more confident that it will work as advertised.
I do think that 8 slot Colorful motherboard (forgot the model name) that has been shown recently looks the most enticing, but these D1800s look slick too. --- Does anyone know of a case/frame that has been designed to fit these?
I don't think so. In Hong Kong, Onda is an unheard of brand, didn't know it existed till this thread. The colorful 8 slot board looks good and compact. Really liking 8 slots with no risers. That load of 6pin pcie requirement though, requiring a 2400W or dual 1200W for enough cables. It's troublesome unless we can use 3 or 4 way splitter cables... if they exist.
the six card comes soon
Goal is :
1080 ti -------- water
1080 ti -------- water
1070 ti -------- water
1070 ti -------- water
1080 ti -------- mini
there are issues that may happen
1) cpu is welded and may not like that many 1080 ti's
2) lot of juice for this could be a problem
3) max ram may be 1 8gb stick sodimm
I am going to work with spotswood
I will provide measurements for him to build a case.
this card below may be best card for the six card board
https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-6161-RXif it is in a case.
I could use a case build and put this with these 3

I bought 3 more recently. They work as expected and run cooler than my Zotacs.
EDIT: I think your choice (ie: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING) should good in a case.
