Everybody knew fork was coming, and that no exchange could be trusted to credit BCH fork.  Exchanges have stiffed people before in similar situations:
- BTC-E said ETC was a scam and didn't credit ETH deposits with ETC
- Poloniex didn't airdrop any Byteball, Stellar, Bitcore, or OmiseGo on its customers (in fairness, OMG was the only one of those that was distributed without any action required from the holder of the coin being airdropped on)
