The process is as follows: 1) LAToken issues tokens linked to the price of publicly traded assets (e.g. an Apple share) 2) Cryptoholders buy asset tokens at an auction on the LAT platform using cryptocurrency 3) On a pre-determined settlement date, LAToken buys back asset tokens from cryptoholders at the current market price of the underlying asset (e.g. current market price of an Apple share on the NASDAQ)
