I haven't received KICK yet and no word from the team either. I'm not worried, but I don't think it's good practice to leave contributors with questions.

New tokens will be sent to all holders of all versions automatically using the blockchain snapshot.
Just old tokens become obsolete and KICK will appear on the balance
So I assume they must have already started sending new KICK tokens out to replace the old KC tokens.
I'm stoked about this project, so I hope they can get things straightened out with the tokens.
I'll feel more at ease and confident when I get my new KICKs
