This card is NOT a debit or credit card,
but instead a complete solution to replace the very people who defeat decentralization (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, etc.)
We believe these cards are bad solutions to the issue of mass adoption.

The only fees you'll pay are the gas fees (~$0.10 each transaction), and those are to make the blockchain transactions you're used to.

How does it work?
Proxy combined security and accessibility-- for everyone.
Proxy Card's are beautifully simple. When you create an account on Proxy, you will either import an existing wallet or create a new one.
The private key of that wallet is encoded with triple layer 256-bit (military grade) encryption onto your NFC-enabled Proxy Card. We don't save your private key unless you want us to!
When a transaction is initiated from your account, we set up all the boring details for you. That way you can review the request on your app, and tap your card to confirm it and send us your private key.
This private key is decoded on our server, we complete the transaction, and forget your sensitive information. That gives you the security of a cold wallet with the access of a live wallet, like coinbase.
It also means that in the unlikely event of a hack or breach, your money is always safe.
It also means that you can check out on our partner merchant sites simply by typing your username, and tapping your card on your phone!

Currently, there are two options for Ethereum wallets. You can have a live wallet that is susceptible to attack and never truly owned by you, or you can have a cold wallet that requires you to maintain a sync and be tech-savvy.
