Innovation is the force that moves the world towards an improved reality, it makes our lives better and opens endless new possibilities. As with power comes a great responsibility, with innovation comes an endless wave of questions and doubts that need to be answered.

There’s one sentence we repeat in almost all our blogposts “The blockchain will disrupt every industry and economy” — it sounds great, but do we really understand what it means? because it’s not only businesses getting smarter and safer and economies getting fairer, it’s also billions of people being pushed to something they don’t understand and most certainly didn’t ask for.

So, when the paradigm shift starts, who’s gonna take the time to explain the world what’s going on? My guess is we are, the [Suspicious link removed]munity, and there are two ways of doing most things, the hard one and the smart one. We rather go smart.

Alright, enough philosophic talk about the future, let us pitch you our plan and the reasons why we want you.

About Experimental

In case you haven’t already heard about us, we are Experimental, the company that will help the world understand and embrace the blockchain.
We develop projects, or experiments as we call them, that help people that never heard about the blockchain and cryptocurrencies understand what the future will look like.

Our first experiment is CryptoWars, a strategy game fully based on the Ethereum blockchain where users will be able to compete with each other to win Experimental Tokens. Experimental Tokens are our own ERC-20 currency that can then be cashed out to actual ETH, BTC or even USD.

CryptoWars is a huge challenge, both technically and business-wise, and that’s only the first experiment on the company’s roadmap so fasten your seatbelt!
About the Experimental Community

We know we are taking on a massive challenge, a huge responsibility and an amazingly fun adventure. We are absolutely conscious of the amount of work that has to be put to build this company and all the experiments we plan to work on the years to come.

This is not the first company we build, and experience gives perspective. We can’t do this by ourselves, we need a troop. We are an experienced 8-people team that has worked together for more than 8 years and sold one company, we are developers, designers, marketers, the whole deal, but there’s no team that can do this by itself, we need a network, we need feedback and advice, we need beta testers, we need ideas, we need a community.

That’s why we decided to create the Experimental Community, a group of 300 engaged and proactive blockchain enthusiasts that will help us reach our goal. We don’t expect these 300 people to be technical, the most diverse, the better. We want designers, marketers, businessmen, developers, and specific industry specialists.

There are two rules to know if you can be a part of this community:
1) Be a blockchain enthusiast.
2) Be ready to share and discuss ideas.

Defining “Collaborators”

We need 300 collaborators, most companies call these “investors” but in our case, we value more the ideas and suggestions you might bring to the table than your money (ethereum).

Since we launched we got contacted by several investors and we realized how easy is to raise money for a [Suspicious link removed]pany — what’s not that easy is to raise smart money, and that is our goal.

If you want to join our community early, you need to join our PRE-ICO. Only 300 people will be selected. The minimum collaboration is 1 ETH and the maximum is 10 ETH.

The funds raised will be mainly used for development of the beta version of CryptoWars. At some point in the future, we’ll do an ICO to fund the whole operation and start growing. Step by step and with no rush.

All token holders will be able to suggest and vote the experiments to come. To learn more, read our white paper.
Collaboration pool

There are 100 million Experimental Tokens in existence, 34% of these have the sole purpose of motivating and thanking collaborators. If you have a great idea that will be developed as the next experiment or you wrote an amazing blog post for us, we’ll give you a reward. We want the community to be active, and this pool will be a nice way of keeping the wheels moving!

Selection criteria

We read all applications thoroughly, we click on all links and check all profiles, so the more info you add, the better. We want to get to know you, we want to know who we can count on and for what topics.

Adding your social profiles or personal website helps, and adding a message on the free text field too! Let us know why you’re excited about Experimental, how you would add value and where do you see this in a few years from now!

We take each decision as a team and answer as fast as possible. We might contact you with additional questions or just give you the warmest welcome we can by email.
