You can't just announce it to your living room and call that a public launch. If you're actively trying to prevent people from picking up on it (like this, the largest forum) then you're pre-mining.

I haven't seen the code and I don't know if the rewards for the early blocks are also 10 MDC, but it's at the very least a ninja launch, which is unfortunate for a scrypt coin.
