I'm would start in mining with a buddy but we don't know which hardware choose,

We would run with two HD5850 then four HD5850 in few month so there is the hardware that we have in our mind :

It's have two Pcie x16 and two pcie x1

- CPU : I don't know which CPU i have to use, a cheap sempron is enough ?

- Ram : I'll take 2go of the memory of my home pc.

- HDD : We have a little old hdd but we don't know if it's degrade the rate while the mining.

- PSU : We have some chinese PSU whose make 480W each but because it's chinese it may be 250W so for the moment we will use one PSU per HD5850 and one PSU for the motherboard

- OS : What is the best ? Debian is good ? and I want make a ssh access to be able to reboot the rig from my home.

Also I've view that we can convert pcie x1 into pcie x16 with a cable like this : https://cablesaurus.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=10&zenid=bf85fba298982c5e0e2cd440abd2f240 but I don't know if it's work and if it's difficult someone could explain me ?
