I would personally go with a LGA1155 Intel board unless you're biased against Intel. If you get a good one, you can start with a Celeron for @$50, and later move up to a quad-core if you're into gaming that much.
Also, where are you getting the Radeons for $329? Best price I could find on them was $399 or so, paid $409 for mine. Although I hear 7950's are the best power/price right now.
Hey Guys
I know this has been asked a thousand times but i'm overwhelmed with the amount of info out there. I would like to take a gamble with bitcoin mining and my primary goal is to cover my costs and if i dont like it to have atleast a decent gaming PC at the end

Money is not a problem really, i just want to have a decent bitcoin rig and be able to convert it to a excellent gaming rig if it doesnt work out.
So what are your thoughts on the following setup?
Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7970 Windforce 3X 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card 323.99x2 or x3
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard 141.98
AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 Black Edition 4.00GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail 161.99
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10) 99.95
Corsair Professional Series HX+ 1050W '80+ Gold' Modular Power Supply (CP-9020033-UK) 170
I already have a case, hd and cooling sorted.
Id really appreciate any helpful thoughts or suggestions. Thanks in advanced.
