we finally have an improved sync for windows that while it isnt blazing fast, at least it doesnt waste a lot of bandwidth. the sync time wont be as good as other OS, but should be much improved.
recently we sped up the startup time by 4x, which hopefully will make it less likely for people to get impatient and killing the process, which if done improperly corrupts the DB at worst and at best requires a rescan.

Thanks to you and your team James! The speed increase is definitely noticeable and various other strange little display bugs have now gone.
