Because in gambling any casino investments anything can happen so you get even better profits or some losses also.

And yes, there really is no guarantee that you'll get same results as it all depends on your luck as an investor. If you have high risk to investment, and a highroller losses big, you profit big. If he wins, then you would loss big as well.
