"Has been caught" might be strong.  They announced they were doing that as a way to maintain income and be able to eliminate all of the porn sites that are normally on the page.    If you use TPB, Id rather loan them a few cpu cycles for 10 minutes while on the site than have to sift through all the click-bait and porn ads.
