Princeton offers a course, Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies, through Coursera. First offered in the spring, the course begins once more in September 2015. In a description of the course on the website, the 6 weeks of study are designed to teach everything you need to be able to separate fact from fiction when reading claims about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Youll have the conceptual foundations you need to engineer secure software that interacts with the Bitcoin network. And youll be able to integrate ideas from Bitcoin in your own projects. The school has also offered a free Bitcoin course.
Well these kind of courses are only offered online where it does really have no bearing on your curriculum. Any people not even enrolled in that university can take that online course, I have several friends who got a certification taking online courses of prestigious schools which none of them really set foot to the said university. I really consider online courses as some kind of seminar where the certificate signifies you taking that course, and I don't think it would have any bearing in your resume as anyone could take it.
