I guess you are on Windows. Press windows icon type %appdata% press enter, search for EddieCoin folder, in that folder create file eddiecoin.conf add to that file following lines:

addnode=91.90.235.216
addnode=153.215.107.114
addnode=153.215.107.114
addnode=47.153.167.70
addnode=31.214.141.64
addnode=134.255.216.30
addnode=81.135.105.225
addnode=134.255.232.154

restart the wallet. It should work now!
