On my own understanding bitcoin is a crypto currency.  Since we cannot touch it by our hands unlike the paper money, we call it digital currency.  But, upon analyzing its function, and how people earn through investing and buying bitcoins, we can classify it also as a "digital good".  Therefore, bitcoin can classify as both "digital currency" and "digital good".
