Do you already know wich wallets will be compatible?, i'm installing Multidoge, or do you recomend install the full dogecoin client?
We recommend 1.10.0, however any desktop wallet running the current blockchain will be fine. We will issue a supported wallets list later in the process, but can guarantee the full dogecoin 1.10.0 client right now.
