Here's my settings using a Zoltac gtx 1060
MY_WATT='80'
MY_CLOCK='100'
MY_MEM='1100'
MY_FAN='85'
I currently get about 276 mh/s on 12 miners or about 23 mh/s per gpu.. That the exact same has as I get on my Windows Miner.

Just an update for 1060 6gb owner ... the proposed config its not stable at all and crashes the miner. So far my best experiment is with the following config:

NV_CLOCK="100"
NV_MEM="935"
NV_FAN="88"
After 20 Min i got from 15 MHs up to 19 MHs ... hopefully will do better very soon. However I'm not satisfied as I'm reading on internet that ppl on Win get up to 25 MHs with this GPU, which is +25% of what I'm getting.
Hopping for better, any help will be very much appreciated. XMOS Rocks
