Chinese government can actually create panic and cause amateurs traders to sell there coins to whales but it cannot banned bitcoin as bitcoin is universal. I think bitcoin should be using as world currency as it represents perfectly the idea.
Even if they ban it's too hard to find out who is using because bitcoin is pseudo-anonomous and people will still use it.
Exactly banning bitcoin in some country doesnt mean that all the residents out there would be stopped using that thing. No, like in our country all the deals and transactions involving bitcoin are banned ad illegal.
But we are doing work, government know it but they know people are not getting affected by this campaign. So we are doing it openly.

I have not heard of a country outright banning Bitcoin/blockchain altogether. That seems like quite a drastic measure. USA is built on banking and still has not even made BTC illegal.
It is quite sad how there are so many brutal dictatorships/autocracies out there. No government should be banning this amazing, revolutionary technology.
