For this time anything can happen. but I think that the world will switch to another payment system, the world financial revolution will take place 
8 years is lots of time. Most likely we will see 100 forks till then. Blockchain will be way over 1 TB. Everyone in economic field will realize power of Bitcoin til then, so there will be a lot of people fighting against. We might even see countries using arms against each other over Bitcoin, for sure an economic battles.
In short it will be same interesting times as are today.
