I would suggest to hold Altcoins like ETH because of its great reputation. ETH have the potential bloom like bitcoins. I started to collect ETH for long term investment. Collecting Bitcoin is kinda saturated now. But you can still hold bitcoins if you have any for future investment. Like I said, give Altcoins a chance. Maybe it will bloom like bitcoins, no one knows 
Holding all of alt coins ETH and other coins in our portfolio including bitcoin is the best thing to do all the time. Day traders aren't just day traders, they usually have their own preferred coins to hold for a long time or they have their cold storage for each coins that they think that will grow in the future and this is what I want to tell to my friends, they don't have to rush they only need to keep on holding.
