[...] the total order, including my five, was for 511. and they mailed 530. the extra 19 are intended for warranty replacement if any of you guys get deffective ones.
I'm curious what you do if there are extras. My guess is it will be more of a hassle than you hoped for!
530 delivered - 511 ordered = 19 miners
19 miners *
BTC1.99 =
BTC37.81
BTC37.81 / 511 ordered =
BTC.074 / miner
I can imagine you don't want to hold the risk if a miner won't work, but if you can't afford buying everyone out, you have unwittingly become a warranty salesman! i.e. individuals are given the option to return on warranty from you.
For example, if I believe strongly these things will last I would ask for
BTC.074 for each miner ordered and forfeit my right to a return. If more than 19 go bad, you're not going to be able to do anything in either case!
If you do end up with leftovers that do mine but you don't have the capital to buy us out you could consider offering shares. Each ordered miner earns the buyer a share.
320 MH/s * 19 = 6080 MH/s
6080 MH/s earns
BTC1.91 / week.
BTC1.91 / 511 =
BTC.0037 / share per week
One could then sell their share of Arklan Mining on BTCT. If one person ended up with 27 shares they could force sale of a single miner.
