Has anyone ever figured out how to unlock voltage on these rev. 2 cards? Really wish I could under volt them.
It is possible to flash them with modded BIOS. The question is whether they will remain stable at a lower voltage.
Do you have a link to this BIOS, please? I've got 16 7970s, the only ones that aren't under volted is these 2 GB cards, plus an Asus DCII which is also voltage locked. I saved about 600w of electricity by under volting all of my cards.
Takes a lot of patience and testing to find the minimum voltage they will run on 24/7 stable.
