My personal opinion is that marketplace is still better idea. It has some magic extra value. Personally, I would more appriciate posibility to buy/sell goods for DGC, then buy/watch advertisment (I would never do that, I hate ads ). Also the Artist who wrote that post in that topic where you made that poll what community want next, made his point pretty well. I think, giving artists extra space for easy offering of their work, could be that extra value.
